CALL FOR INTEREST - Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Economics
The Department of Economics and Management (DEM) at the University of Pavia, in view of the possible opening of a position of Tenure Track Assistant Professor (RTT) in Economics is seeking expressions of interest by potential candidates interested in joining our community. The position will be full time for a fixed period of 6 years.
Our Department is devoted to promote high-quality research, seminars and conference activities, with the aim of contributing to the national and international policy debate. The Department has been selected as department of excellence by ANVUR (Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of University and Research Systems) and received 6.6 million euros for the period 2023-2028.
Ideal applicants for this position must have at least two years of experience after PhD graduation, and a publication record in international journals in the areas of: Industrial Economics, Industrial Organization, Industrial Dynamics, Competitiveness, and Industry Regulation. They are expected to carry out theoretical as well as empirical research by applying cutting-edge methods and research tools.
The teaching duties consist of 60 hours of frontal teaching on annual basis, both at the undergraduate and at the graduate level mainly in the areas of: Microeconomics, Industrial Economics and Applied Industrial Organization.
There are no restrictions regarding the nationality of the applicants.
