Admission to the 2026/2027 Academic Year (Cycle 42)

Key Dates:

• Application Deadline: June 30, 2026 1 pm CET
• Publication of Preliminary Evaluation: By July 16, 2026
• Interviews: July 17, 2026 (to be held online)
• Results: By July 21, 2026
• Program begins: October 1, 2026

Interview structure

The interview aims to assess your knowledge, scientific qualities, and motivation regarding the PhD program.

• Format: A brief seminar-style presentation of your proposed research project, followed by a general discussion.
• Duration: 10 minutes in total (presentation + Q&A).
• Slides: You may prepare a maximum of 3 slides to support your project presentation.
