Aims and scope

The Department of Economics and Management (DEM) of the University of Pavia gathers researchers who focus on macroeconomic and financial risk measurement and on the design of policies for the mitigation of such risks.
In line with these premises, and with the benefit of funds obtained from the Italian Ministry of University and Research (Progetto dipartimenti di eccellenza), the Department of Economics and Management has decided to launch the Centre for the Analysis and Measurement of Global Risks (CAM-Risk). CAM-Risk integrates the work of economists, mathematicians, and statisticians, promotes affiliation of researchers external to DEM, and seeks collaboration with supervisory and regulatory institutions.
